Saturday

On saturday Reed & I went to my uncle Earl's funeral up in ogden..it was a very nice service. My dad got up and gave a talk about him and how we all will miss him..GREAT JOB dad! We didn't want to take the girls with us mostly because Hailey is too young so Ellie stayed home and watched her & Bryson. After the funeral my dad & Rox went to my aunt Joann;s house to make sure got home ok & too see if she needed anything...they have been there for her & Earl since the begining stages of his illness, I have the most caring parents!! At around 7pm they got to my house to pick up Bryson, and ended up taking my girls so they could spend the night...so...that left Reed & I kid free....woohoo! The two of us went to dinner & then met up with our good friends Brandon & Lindsey for a late movie. We saw "I Love You Man".... EXTREMELY FUNNY!!! We laughed sooo hard...Reed said we need to go see it again cuz we probally missed parts of it by laughing so much! We really needed a good laugh it helped make us feel better after loosing our uncle....so, thank you Brandon & Lindsey for going with us...your the best!

We are really going to miss you Earl..you always had us laughing, but we know you are in a better place!!

PJ Day

Today at Hailey's school was pajama day! She thought it was cool to wake up and not have to change her pj's for school! She kept asking me why Ellie & me were not wearing our jammies to school & work, I told her that my scrubs were like jammies (which they are..it's nice not have to dress up anymore for work), so she was ok with that!

On Friday Me, Ellie, her friend Crystal, Hailey, my sister Shnnon , & my brother Matt went to Walmart @ 10:30pm to stand in line for the Twilight DVD release at midnight!

had her St. Patrick's Day party at school today and she LOVED it! they played musical chairs, had cookies, and searched for the candy and gold coins that the leprechaun dropped.

When I asked her about her party and what they did she said they were finding the candy and gold that the little man dropped, and that they didn't see him cuz he ran REALLY fast and he is magic! She really loves her new daycare wich makes me so happy!

Last night we went over to our friends Colby & Amanda's to play Texas Hold'em. I didn't lay the 1st game I sat out with Amanda & Christi & we talked for a while. When the 2nd game started us girls decide to play...now I haven't played for a time so I was thinking I'm gonna be out REALLY fast, but to my surprise I actually played pretty good. At the end it was me & Colby's friend Nick & it was 1:30 in the morning so we were all pretty tired, Nick asked if I wanted to d the last hand going all in blind..I hesitated but I WAS tired so I said "Let's do it" & I WON!!! I have NEVER won at cards so I was VERY excited! Amanda said we had to take a picture to blog it so I am!

Yesterday we went to the Sportsmen's Expo @ the South Towne Expo Center with our friends Brandon, Lindsey & their cute kids. It was sooo crowded not as good as the past years bu the kids had fun seeing all the animals. They had a dog water jumping competition so we watched that for a bit...the dogs were really cute! We stopped by the Yellowstone Bear World booth and the kids got to hold a 2 month old bear & got their pictures taken with it, Hailey LOVED that! Our friend Cory had his deer there at the channel 2 news booth sitting inside the truck so that was pretty cool! But I think the kids favorite part was going inside all the campers and sitting on the 4 wheelers, as yo can see they found the pink one and they wanted us to buy them one! Thanks Brandon & Linds for going with us we had a fun time!

Fox Family Visits Salt Lake City

So yesterday we were on our way to my dads & Hailey was in the backseat watching Hanna Montana nad out of the blue she says.."he's hot"! I asked who she was talking about and she said "Jake Ryan". For those of you who don't watch Hanna Montana he is the boy that Miley likes, anyway, Earlier that day Ellie & her friend were talking about how Jake Ryan is hot, and as usual Hailey was hanging onto EVERY word they were saying! She is so funny..what 4 year old says that guys are hot?

What a lazy day..these were taken at 3:00 pm this afternoon. I didn't take one of Reed but he was up in the bedroom asleep also!! How does that work?? Im up cleaning the house & doing laundry & they are all being lazy!! Not fair!

Hailey Update

Hailey is currently enrolled in Bennion Learning Center for her preschool, but on Feb. 17th she will now be attending a new preschool with her best est friend in the world, Ashtyn!! She is so very excited..she can hardly wait!! Every morning she asks if today is the day she starts. This preschool is much closer to our house & Reeds work, it's also on my way to work so no more driving out of the way!! Yesterday we stopped by the new place so she could meet the new kids, Ashtyn was so happy to see her! Hailey played with the girls for a bit and really liked them, so I'm glad she is excited and not nervous it make it much easier on me!! So here's a thanks to Brandon and Lindsey for the heads up on the opening, we really appreciate it, you guys are great friends!!

Ashtyn & Hailey

Yesterday Me, Andrea, & Lindsey took the kids to see Play House Disney Live. The kids had a GREAT time, it was really cute! I made the mistake of telling Hailey we were going when I ordered the tickets, she asked EVERYDAY if it was time to go, it got really annoying...so yesterday after the show I asked her if was worth the wait & she said YES!!!

Can I say.....???

Ok.. so.. the other day I was in the kitchen while Reed & Hailey were playing Guitar Hero. It was Reeds turn so Hailey decided to come sit at the counter while I was making dinner. Reed was playing Michael Jackson's "Beat it". The corus say "showin how funky and strong is your fight it dosen't matter whos wrong or right, just beat it" well Hailey asked me, out of the blue, "mom can I say fu**er?" I was shocked and asked her where she heard that, she said "in this song" I started laughing and told her that it said "Funky" & no she could NOT say the other word, so she asked if she could say "funky" and I told her that word is ok. So now we try not to ply "Beat it" anymore, just in case!
