Pumpkin Patch

Sat. we went to the pumpkin patch with the OTHER Goodrich family...it was a blast. But I forgot my camera!!! Good thing for phone cameras. The girls had a real good time, Hailey thought it was the coolest thing!! We ended up with 7 pumpkins with all togeather weighed about 137 lbs. Jim and Sue ended up with almost 260 lbs of pumpkins!!! thats alot of pumpkins! Ellie said from now on EVERY halloween we are going to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins, A NEW TRADITION she says.

Jumping Jacks

Last weekend we went to Jumping Jacks for our friends daughters birthday. The girls had so much fun!! It has a bunch of inflatable slides and stuff like that. By the end of the night they were exhausted..they slept till 11:00 am the next morning.

Gardner Village

Me, my mom, & Shannon tootk the kids to Gardner Village on Sat.to see the witches...they had a BLAST, even though i rained on us ALL day long. We ate lunch athte Neighborhood Bakery and did TONS of SHOPPING!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL!!

Cookie Time

Reed & Brandon went hunting yet again..so Hailey & I went over to Lindsey's house for some pizza & to make halloween cookies. The girls had so much fun, but I think Ashtyn ate more frosting than what she put on her cookies!! We had a real fun time....Thanks Lindsey & Ashtyn!!

Oh, if your wondering where Ellie was...she was babysitting with her friend Makayla, that is her NEW thing at least this week anyway!

Last weekend we went to the Toby Keith concert with Brandon, Lindsey, Colby and Amanda. It was a lot of fun...we had a really good time! As you can see in the pics the guys were being goofs (as usual).

Yearly Check Ups

The girls had their yearly check up's the other day and they are doing AWESOME!! Dr. Lindsey Teased Ellie about boys...i wa pretty funny! Hailey is growing like a weed(only in height) she still only weighs 32 lbs. The dr. said she i 75% in height and only 25% in weight..but he said that is normal for her, she's been that way since birth. They both had to get shots, Ellie got 3 and Hailey 1. And yes they BOTH cried. Ellie said hers burned really bad and Hailey.....well she's 4 it's expected.

Making Candy

Last saturday Reed went hunting with Brandon and Ellie stayed over at grandpa's...so Hailey and I decited to make candy!! She loved it! We mad chocolate covered pretzles, chocolate covered marshmellows and we did chocolate covered oreo's, we had alot of fun. The white chocolate turned out the best.

Snowbird

Today we went to snowbird for the Oktoberfest. I have been going with my mom every year for the past 12 years!! We rode the tram, Hailey was a little scared at first but then she loved it! It was really beautiful up top and a little chilly, it was only 50*. We also ate some bratwarsts and sourkreaut (Hailey had a hamburger and as you can see it's as big as her face) and some warm German potato salad, YUM. Im suprised Ellie ate the brat!! Hailey LOVED watching the singer and dancers. On the way back to the truck the girls wanted their pictures taken and so I did....that's a suprise!

The Couches Retire.......

....and United is born! Yes the flag football team Reed and all his friends played on for the past MANY MANY years has retired, BUT they have started a new team, UNITED. Im actually suprised they are playing another season. Last season there was talk that they may not play again due to injuries and they think they are getting too old!! I say pfhttt, your only as old as you feel, age is just a number! The boys have combined two of last years teams togeather, wich will be nice to have a bigger team so if rest is needed they can have it. I think there 1st game is next weekend but I will keep you posted and of coarse I will be taking pics!!

Las Vegas Pictures

Well this year for our 13th wedding anniversary we dicited to take the girls to Las Vegas!! For those who dont know my mother in law lives there and we stay with her. Ellie has been there quite a few times but it has been a while, and little miss Hailey has only been once befor when she was a baby so we thought it would be fun to go on a little family vacation!! We left on fri. around 12pm and got there at about 5pm (Vegas time) and the 1st thing the girls did was get their suits on and jumped into the pool, the water was PERFECT! We stayed home @ Kathy's that night had pizza and swim. On sat. we took the girls down to the strip, we had breakfast at the rain forest cafe in the MGM Grand, it was REALLY COOL. The animals came to life and there would be a tropical storm every so often, then we saw the baby lions, soo cute! We went to M & M World, Hailey LOVED IT!! We shopped and watched a 3D mini movie, we then we went to the coke store, kinda lame. Next stop was the NASCAR Cafe, Reed and Ellie went on the roller coaster, Ellie said it was AWESOME!! while they did that Hailey and I went to the arcade and played games! Later that night we took them down to Freemont Street for more shopping and to watch the light show, it's pretty cool. When that was done Kathy and Ralph took the girls back to the house so Reed and I could gamble for a while ,that turned out to be about 5 hours, but all good cuz we walked away a little bit ahead!! Sun. came pretty fast, we were gonna go home but we decited since mon. was a holiday we should stay, and we did, so SUPRISE we swam ALL morning and afternoon, it was TONS of fun, after that we were going to take the girls to the Stratosphere but it was too windy and they werent sending anybody up, BUMMER, so instead we took the girls to the Excalibur and played LOTS of games at the little carnival. As always the fun had to end and we had to come home, but it's always nice to be home!! Thanks so much Pretty Grandma and Ralphie for an AWESOME trip!! We love you and will hopefully see you soon!!!
